Post-Secondary Education in Georgetown
In the Fall of 2005, Georgetown saw the opening of the Round Rock Higher Education Center. Post-secondary schooling has rich roots in Georgetown. The community is home to two junior colleges and the Higher Education Center is dedicated to providing local residents with access to degrees and certificates from Texas State University, Austin Community College, and Temple College in the Texas town of Taylor.

The labor force in Georgetown is growing at the speed of light. During the eleven year period between 1990 and 2001, Georgetown's workforce shot up by more than one hundred percent. San Gabriel Park: Georgetowners have found their very own saint in San Gabriel Park. A local summer gem, lined with trees that have witnessed two generations, San Gabriel Park has found popularity as a host of Frisbee tournaments, canoing, swimming, and concerts.
